i am god

psalm 46:10

be still, and know that i am god;

i will be exalted among the nations,

i will be exalted among the earth...

i received this scripture one week before my father

came down to shillong for a heart operation.

i was busy with work and not in a position

to attend to him as much i wanted.

i felt guilty, i was worried, i wracked my brains...

in the end the lord worked out everything so perfectly.

through this passage he said:

look, i'm the boss in charge. i've been in

the business of saving lives for eternity.

sometimes all we have to do is to be still,

so he can move, and heal and bless;

our worrying and crying and too much fervent prayer overburdens us:

be still, he says, don't you know that

i am god...
