salvation in 60 secs

while walking on the streets of shillong, the lord led us to a young jaintia who confessed that he was a non-believer. it was during office hours so i sensed he would not have time to sit and chat at leisure but in my spirit, i knew this was too good an opportunity to lose: i had to share the message of the kingdom with him. and the only way was to ask him if he could spare 30 seconds of his precious time. and, praise the lord, he agreed.
whether the gospel is receive or rejected is not our concern but that we preach it effectively enough for the message to be understood. And i had no idea how to do it in 30 seconds, but this is how the spirit led me, and one day, i believe that young man will be in heaven with us.
1. do you agree that there is sin all over this world? sin is anger, fear, stealing, fighting, killing , anything that isn't pleasing to god is sin. he agreed.
2. we all have sin in our life, everyone will make a mistake one day to displease god. we're human, no matter how hard we try, we will sin. he agreed
3. god hates sin, it is unrighteous, and sin is punishable by death, a big price to pay. the wages of sin is death. most importantly, sin separates us from god, his love, plans, purposes and eternal life. he agreed.
4. god being merciful sent his one and only son jesus to die on the cross and shed his blood to cleanse us from all sins. jesus paid the price for our sins.
5. anyone who believes that jesus died and paid the price for their sins and accepts him as a personal savior shall be forgiven and receive eternal life.
6. brother, you can confess your sins, and if you want to accept jesus as your personal savior, we can pray for you...
